Library Makerspace Training in Sausalito, CA August 20-22, 2018

Last month, a co-worker and I had the opportunity to attend the first ever library makerspace training at the Bay Area Discovery Museum sponsored through a grant by the California State Library. It was three days filled with lots of information as well as lots of hands on activities. Below are photos taken while at the training event. I was also happy to meet and become friends with a fellow black librarian who works with the makerspace at the Marin City Library. The training was very helpful and I look forward to using our newly gained knowledge to create interesting programs for the patrons in our community.

Of course being that I love libraries, I couldn't resist getting a library card while I was in the area.
